The Canheads is a growing group of colorful individuals who enjoy showing off for the crowd. The trademark of the group was born when the original stunt was performed; The founder of the group walked to a friends house with a Coca Cola box over his head. Now it's not just an isolated stunt, it's a group that's beginning to show up in several places across the nation. Anyone can join; the more the better, provided you follow a few rules and restrictions. The last thing anyone wants is to end up in prison for disturbing the peace. What we do it not a disturbance, it's a series of interactive improv stunts carried out in public, viewed by clueless pedestrians as they go about their every day lives.
What's The Deal?
During the month of August '03, the Canheads were born. Starting in Derby, KS, then spreading via online chat forums to other parts of the nation, it's beginning to look like a promising start to a great thing. The main purpose of our stunts is to brighten the day of everyone around us, or just to get a few good laughs. Stunts are planned specifically to trigger the universal laughter, like the joke that everyone enjoys. And most of all, we do these stunts to have a good time ourselves, whether we're sitting at home bored out of our minds or just in a hy[er mood. Most people would probably say we're crazy, but the accepted response is no, we're not crazy... we're just insane.
